Set up working schedule
💡In the work schedule, you specify the employees' agreed working hours. These are displayed in the schedule and form the basis for the calculation of flex.
Click on ⚙️ at the top right corner and then select Work Schedule Template under the heading Scheduling.
Create a template for work schedule
Click on + Add at the top right, fill in the information in the fields, and save.
- Title: Specify what the template should be named.
- Schedule length (days): Enter the number of days before the schedule repeats.
- Full-time (hours): Enter the number of hours that corresponds to full-time for the chosen schedule length.
- Works on holidays: Choose whether the schedule should include work on weekends and public holidays or not.
👀To take public holidays and special holidays into account, they must be activated in Timezynk.
- Click on ⚙️ in the top right corner and navigate to Company Profile.
- Select Sweden under Public Holidays Country.
- Then click on ⚙️ and navigate to Public Holidays under the heading Scheduling.
- Make sure to refresh the page for the public holidays to appear.
Don't forget to review them to ensure they match the agreements you follow.
- Employment rate: A percentage that varies depending on what has been specified as Full-time (hours), and on how many days and hours have been filled in the fields below.
- Hours and breaks: Fill in the time fields by clicking on the clock to the right of the field and selecting the time, or by manually entering the time. On each day’s row, there is the button + Add for breaks, which subtracts from the specified working hours.
Link the template to your employees
Once you have created a template for the work schedule, you can link it to your employees via their profiles.
Start by clicking on Users in the menu on the left. Then click on one of your employee's names and open the Work Schedule tab.
Press the + Add button > and select the following:
- What date the work schedule should start
- Which work schedule should be used (if you have more than one)

Which day in the template should be the first working day
Save your settings and you are done.
